1. Data controller
The controller of personal data is East West Trade Albert Kerno, ul. Tęczowa 80 lok. 6B, 53-601 Wrocław, NIP 8951911716, REGON 362394694 (the “Controller”). EWT AGRO is a brand of the Controller. For any data protection matters, write to office@ewtgroup.pl or by post to our registered address.
2. What data we process
We process the data you provide in forms and correspondence: full name, company or farm name, delivery country or postcode, email address or phone number, product and quantity details and the content of your message. We also process data from contact by email, phone and WhatsApp.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- preparing a quote and answering your enquiry, i.e. steps prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR);
- corresponding with business customers and establishing, pursuing or defending claims, as our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR);
- complying with legal obligations, e.g. tax and accounting, if a contract is concluded (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
4. How long we keep data
We keep data for as long as needed to handle your enquiry. If no cooperation follows, we delete it no later than 12 months after the last contact. If we conclude a contract, we keep it for the duration of the contract and then until the relevant limitation periods and tax retention periods expire.
5. Recipients
Data may only be shared with parties that help us run our business: the website hosting and form provider (Netlify, Inc.), email and messaging providers, transport companies to the extent needed for delivery, and our accounting office. We do not sell personal data.
6. Transfers outside the EEA
Netlify and Google (website fonts) may process data in the United States. This takes place on the basis of the European Commission decision on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses approved by the Commission.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your data, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. You may also lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority (Prezes UODO, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw) or the authority in your country. Providing data is voluntary, but we cannot prepare a quote without it. We do not make automated decisions or profile you.
8. Cookies and browser storage
The website does not use analytics or marketing cookies. We only store your chosen language in the browser’s local storage. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts servers, which means your device’s IP address is shared with Google.
9. Changes
We may update this policy, for example when laws or services change. The current version is always available on this page.
In case of discrepancies, the Polish version prevails.
